Biography
Dr. Robert F. H. Dekker is Professor of Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Mycology at the Lakehead University Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He received his BA in zoology from the University of Massachusetts in 1980. Dr. Robert F. H. Dekker is Professor of Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Mycology at the Lake head University Thunder Bay. Dr.Robert F. H. Dekker received his Ph.D. in James Cook University enzymology, plant polysaccharides, Australia, Townsville, Queensland from Apr 1972–Jun 1974. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Universität Freiburg, Institute of Biology IGermany • Freiburg from Jan 1975–Oct 1976. Dr. Robert F. H. Dekker has over 182 peer reviewed publications. Dr. Robert F. H. Dekker research interests include Microbial Physiology, Laccase, Xylanases, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, enzyme and fermentation technology, Cellulases, carbohydrate and polysaccharide chemistry, biomass conversion and biodegradation, Biorefining Technology, Biological modification of Lignin, fungal lipases, steam explosion pretreatment, enzymatic saccharification of lignocellulosic materials, magnetic immobilised enzymes in saccharification of LC resid, Botryosphaeria rhodina, botryosphaeran, lasiodiplodan, Fermentation Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, Environmental Bioremediation, Trichoderma, Mycology, Polysaccharide, Microbial Fermentation, Biotransformation, Biocatalysis.
